What is VPD?

VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) - shows the difference between the amount of moisture in the air and the maximum possible at a given temperature.

Optimal values:

  • Clones/Seedlings: 0.2-1.4 kPa (optimal 0.8 kPa)
  • Vegetative: 0.5-1.6 kPa (optimal 1.0 kPa)
  • Flowering: 0.7-2.8 kPa (optimal 1.2 kPa)
